Biz Filter for Outlook help document

At first

The filtering process of Biz Filter for Outlook is a function that moves or copies the mail saved in "Inbox" and "Sent Items" of the mail account to any mail folder.

In the filtering rules, "For Inbox" and "For Sent Items" are defined separately, but the "Cross Filter" function of Biz Filter for Outlook is a function that can define them at the same time.

After installing Biz Filter for Outlook, first try the "Cross Filter" function.

cross filter

If you have used the Outlook rules, you can easily use this add-in software.
Even if you are not, we recommend that you first try using a cross filter.

About naming cross filter and yield filter

In Biz Filter for Outlook, the function for defining the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail is called "cross filter", and the function for sorting existing mail is called "yield filter".
context menus
Even if the context menu is not displayed, the cross filter setting screen can be displayed by simultaneously pressing the [Alt] + [x] keys in the folder view.
Similarly, if you press the [y] key while holding down the [Alt] key in the mail view, you can automatically sort the selected mail.

Notice

If you define a new filtering rule using the cross filter, you can perform sorting processing on all existing emails (mails in the inbox and sent items) after the definition.

Please note that when there are a large number of existing emails, it may take some time to sort all emails.
The automatic mail filtering process can be canceled at any time with the "Cancel" button.

If Outlook rules are defined, mail filtering takes precedence over the rules.
